Eine neue Labormethode, die im Fachmagazin Science ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde, zeigt, dass gemischter Plastikm\u00fcll in einem einzigen Schritt in benzintaugliche Kohlenwasserstoffe und Salzs\u00e4ure (HCl) umgewandelt werden kann. Forscher der ECNU berichten von einer hohen Effizienz bei Temperaturen von nur 30 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Verfahren verarbeitet gemischte und sogar kontaminierte Abfallstr\u00f6me, was entscheidend ist, da die meisten Kunststoffabf\u00e4lle schwer zu trennen sind. Das neue Verfahren kombiniert die Spaltung von Kohlenstoffbindungen und die Entfernung von Chlor in einem einzigen Schritt und erzeugt chlorfreie Benzinkohlenwasserstoffe (C6\u2013C12) und HCl als Nebenprodukt. Chloroaluminat-Ionenfl\u00fcssigkeitskatalysatoren erm\u00f6glichen eine kontrollierte Reaktion bei niedrigen Temperaturen.<br><br>In Tests betrug die Umwandlung von Weich-PVC-Rohren 95 Prozent, von Hartrohren und Kabeln bis zu 99 Prozent. Gemischte Abf\u00e4lle (PVC + Polyolefine) erreichten bei 80 \u00b0C 96 Prozent. Die resultierenden Produkte waren methanfrei und bestanden gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils aus verzweigten Alkanen. Das Verfahren arbeitet bei Raumtemperatur und -druck, was einen geringeren Energieverbrauch und eine einfachere Ausr\u00fcstung bedeutet. HCl kann in der Industrie und der Kraftstoff in bestehenden Verteilungssystemen eingesetzt werden.
