Das im Rahmen des Aurora-Programms entwickelte neue Batteriepaket verspricht, drei der gr\u00f6\u00dften Probleme aktueller Technologien zu l\u00f6sen: hohe Kosten, begrenzte Rohstoffversorgung und geringe Leistung bei winterlichen Bedingungen. Die Prototypzelle erreicht eine Energiedichte von 170 Wh\/kg und geh\u00f6rt damit zu den Spitzenreitern der Natrium-Batterieindustrie.<br><br>Das beeindruckendste Merkmal ist zweifellos die Ladegeschwindigkeit. Das System unterst\u00fctzt die fortschrittliche 4C-Technologie, wodurch der Akku in nur 11 Minuten vollst\u00e4ndig aufgeladen werden kann. Neben dieser blitzschnellen Ladegeschwindigkeit zeichnet sich die Technologie von BAIC auch durch ihre extreme Temperaturbest\u00e4ndigkeit aus. Der Akku arbeitet problemlos in einem Bereich von -40 \u00b0C bis 60 \u00b0C und beh\u00e4lt selbst bei -20 \u00b0C noch \u00fcber 92 Prozent seiner Kapazit\u00e4t. Dies ist ein entscheidender Vorteil gegen\u00fcber Lithium-Eisenphosphat-Akkus (LFP), deren Leistungsf\u00e4higkeit bei K\u00e4lte schnell abnimmt.<br><br>Sicherheitstests haben gezeigt, dass Natriumzellen extrem stabil sind; sie \u00fcberstehen eine \u00dcberladung bis zu 200 % ohne Brandgefahr und bleiben selbst bei Temperaturen bis zu 200 \u00b0C sicher. Obwohl BAIC den genauen Termin f\u00fcr den Serieneinsatz in seinen Fahrzeugen noch nicht bekannt gegeben hat, sind die Produktionsprozesse f\u00fcr die Massenproduktion bereits vorbereitet.
