However, since the Tensor G2 mobile processor was somewhat disappointing, at least in terms of performance, Google is already preparing a new product. It is a Tensor G3 processor, which is said to be available together with the Pixel 8 smartphones. On paper, they promise a lot, as they are said to be equipped with as many as nine processor cores. Here it will be one Arm Cortex-X3 core (the most powerful), four Arm Cortex-A715 cores and four Arm Cortex-A510 cores. Graphic content will be handled by the powerful ARM Mali-G715 graphics solution with eight graphics cores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What is interesting here is that the Tensor processors for Google are manufactured by the competing company Samsung. But in 2025, that should change. Namely, Google will fully entrust the production of Tensor processors to TSMC. In all likelihood, it will manufacture Tensor G5 processors for it. With this, Google will gain greater independence in the production of its processors. At the same time, they should become even better. The new Tensor G5 is likely to be used in the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro smartphones.<\/p>\n
