Naughty Dog, the big game developers better known lately for the extraordinary series The Last of Us Part I and Part II, have announced The Last of Us Part II Remastered. All in all, it will be an improved and final version of the sequel to The Last of Us, which was, to put it mildly, one of the best "story driven" games of this decade. Fortunately, we won't have to wait too long for the final version, because we will be able to download and play it already on January 19, 2024 on the Playstation 5 game console.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vast majority of you have probably already played the game, but I think this Remastered version will bring a lot of people back to the world of Ellie and Abby. In addition to Naughty Dog going the extra mile to improve an already good game, adding some new modes and most importantly for many, one very special gameplay mode is coming back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main mode that will probably draw most players into the game is the No Return mode. This means that you will try to survive in a world that will be designed in such a way that all encounters will be completely random. Every struggle and effort to survive will mostly depend on your quick thinking and adaptation of the encounter and the environment around you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gameplay and improvements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are a lot of characters to choose from. There are many of them that we already know from the first game, but there are some that we will meet for the first time. It is important to remember that each character is unique and has both positive and negative traits. Which character you choose depends on how you play. With each successfully completed run, you will also receive prizes, unlock new characters and other options. With this, it will be possible to go a little deeper into the tactics of the gameplay and also into the upgrade of your character. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the game The Last of Us Part II Remastered, new and old players have been designed to look behind the scenes of the game. Certain outtakes will be playable, which of course are not finished but will give you an insight into the developers thinking and also what the game could look like if only these different levels were added to the game. In addition, the developers have gone out of their way to add their own comments and insights while exploring the various levels, giving you a richer experience than ever before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to all these improvements and additions, Naughty Dog decided to redo the graphics as well. 4K1 native output in Fidelity mode, 1440p upscaling to 4K1 in performance mode, fps unlock option for VRR-enabled TVs and monitors. They also focused on improving shadow quality, texture resolution and better animations. All this and more awaits you on January 19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
