Google has been very busy lately with its AI offerings, rebranding Bard as Gemini, developing an Android app, and much more. Now, for the first time, a paid subscription is also available, meaning we have one more actor to choose from. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So let's take a look at what the new paid AI platform brings, what features it offers, and the benefits you can expect from it. So, here's Google One AI Premium...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOOGLE ONE AI PREMIUM: PRICE AND AVAILABILITY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Google One AI Premium is already available and costs $19.99 per month. Unlike some other Google One plans, we can't pay for this on an annual basis to get a discount, but we can cancel the subscription at any time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time of writing, Google is offering a free two-month trial period where you can test Google One AI Premium and decide at the end of the period whether it is the right choice for you. You can compare payment plans at Google One Pages<\/a>, where, among other things, you can conclude all subscriptions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOOGLE ONE AI PREMIUM: FEATURES AND BENEFITS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

First, you get 2TB of storage space that you can use in various Google services: Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. This is definitely an additional reason to upgrade, if of course the free 15GB is not enough for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can see, there is a wide range of Google One plans, offering everything from 2TB to 30TB of storage. However, only the Google One AI Premium plan comes with all the \u201cGemini Advanced\u201d features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to storage space, all Google One subscriptions offer priority support, 10% refunds in the Google Store, additional Google Photos editing features (including Magic Eraser), a service that monitors potential abuse of personal data and the use of the Google One VPN service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regardless of everything written so far, you are probably reading this article because of AI features, right? A key part of Google One AI Premium is access to Gemini Advanced: this means the most powerful version of the Google Gemini model, also known as Ultra 1.0. You can think of ChatGPT Plus and Free ChatGPT for an easier show. Google has come up with a similar thing with its AI model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google describes its Gemini Ultra 1.0 as a model capable of the most complex tasks \u2014 tasks involving text, images, and code. The \u201cGemini Advanced\u201d allows for longer conversations and also understands context better. So if you want the most that Google currently has to offer in the AI space, then this is definitely the right choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The largest model, Ultra 1.0, is the first to outperform human experts on MMLU (Massive Multitasking Language Understanding). MMLU uses a combination of 57 subjects \u2013 including mathematics, physics, history, law, medicine and ethics \u2013 to test knowledge and problem-solving skills.<\/em>,\u201d writes Google CEO Sundar Pichai<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Google Gemini app for Android and the Gemini features built into the Google app for iOS are available to everyone, whether they pay a subscription or not \u2013 the same goes for the web interface. However, if you\u2019re on a premium plan, you\u2019ll have access to the more powerful Ultra 1.0 model in all of these places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gemini integration with Google's productivity apps like Gmail, Google Docs, Google Meet, and Google Slides will be available "soon," Google says, and when it's available, you'll get it as part of your Google One AI Premium subscription. Gemini will help you compose emails, design slideshows, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a redesign of the Duet AI features that Google has previously introduced for users of its apps, now known as Gemini for Workspace. Whether you're a home user or a business user, you'll be able to get these integrated AI tools if you subscribe to Google One AI Premium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, in addition to the standard 2TB Google One, the main takeaway is that you get access to the latest and greatest Gemini AI features from Google, and the company promises that there will be many more in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FINAL EVALUATION OF GOOGLE ONE AI PREMIUM<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the one hand, for those who want the most powerful AI tools currently available, Google's two-month free trial of One AI Premium (which includes Gemini Advanced) certainly seems like the right choice. Of course, then we must not forget to cancel the continuation of the subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fact is that Gemini Advanced is still in its early stages. It is not yet possible to test it or compare it to tools like ChatGPT Plus. Its integration with Google apps is also \u201ccoming soon,\u201d and we don\u2019t know when that will happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first glance, Gemini Advanced seems to be slowly becoming a competitor that can compete with ChatGPT Plus for demanding tasks like coding and advanced troubleshooting. It should also integrate nicely with Google apps. We'll have to wait a little longer to judge how well.
