The revolutionary Apple M2 Ultra processor was unveiled at the WWDC 2023 event in June this year. It was initially available in the Mac Studio model, as well as in the Mac Pro model. The Apple M2 Ultra is, of course, the most powerful processor Apple has ever created. At the same time, it should be the most powerful processor you can find in any personal computer, or so Apple claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new Apple M2 Ultra processor is based on the second generation of Apple Silicon architecture, but has a larger matrix than the standard M2 processor, on which Apple included as many as 134 billion transistors. Apple attached up to 24 processor cores and an incredible 76 graphics cores to the new product. The company claims that the processor on the M2 Ultra is up to 20 percent faster compared to the one on the M2 Max, and the integrated graphics core has gained as much as 30 percent in speed. The Apple M3 processor is said to have already been tested in practice by computer enthusiasts, and it is said to be very similar to the current M2 processor. It should have eight processor cores available for data recalculation. Four cores are intended for the most demanding tasks, while four will be energy efficient. In total, the new Apple M3 processor is said to support up to 24 gigabytes of system memory. The first computers equipped with the Apple M3 processor will most likely be the iMac, the 13-inch MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Soon after, Apple is expected to offer the M3 Pro and M3 Max processors for sale. The Apple M3 Pro model will have 12 processor cores and 18 graphics cores. The much more powerful M3 Max model will have as many as 14 processor cores and 40 graphics cores available. It will certainly cope with even the most demanding tasks.<\/p>\n
