El Consorcio Global de Computaci\u00f3n (GCC) ha presentado oficialmente un nuevo est\u00e1ndar, UBIOS (Sistema B\u00e1sico Unificado de Entrada\/Salida), dise\u00f1ado para arquitecturas distribuidas y el dise\u00f1o conjunto de software y hardware. El est\u00e1ndar est\u00e1 registrado con el c\u00f3digo T\/GCC 3007-2025.<br><br>Hasta ahora, China, al igual que el resto del mundo, ha dependido en gran medida de UEFI (Interfaz de Firmware Extensible Unificada), desarrollada por Intel y Microsoft como sucesora de la antigua BIOS. Con la introducci\u00f3n de UBIOS, el pa\u00eds cuenta con su primer ecosistema nacional totalmente estandarizado y extensible, lo que reduce su dependencia de UEFI.<br><br>El est\u00e1ndar fue desarrollado por 13 importantes empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas e instituciones de investigaci\u00f3n chinas, entre ellas el Instituto de Normalizaci\u00f3n Electr\u00f3nica de China, Huawei Technologies y Nanjing BAI AO. Esto es significativo, ya que UEFI ha dominado las plataformas x86 durante dos d\u00e9cadas y se ha extendido a ARM, RISC-V y PC. Sin embargo, el tama\u00f1o de su c\u00f3digo y sus ineficiencias lo hacen inadecuado para la computaci\u00f3n heterog\u00e9nea.<br><br>A diferencia de UEFI, que est\u00e1 estrechamente ligada a la arquitectura x86 y a las tablas ACPI, UBIOS est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado desde cero.
