Si bien esta brecha tecnol\u00f3gica persistir\u00e1 durante alg\u00fan tiempo, se espera que la situaci\u00f3n cambie pronto. Huawei ha anunciado oficialmente un ambicioso plan a largo plazo, seg\u00fan el cual pretende competir directamente con el avanzado proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n de 1,4 nm de TSMC para 2031. Aunque para entonces la compa\u00f1\u00eda seguir\u00e1 estando una generaci\u00f3n por detr\u00e1s, este nivel de integraci\u00f3n deber\u00eda ser m\u00e1s que suficiente para que el ecosistema tecnol\u00f3gico chino siga siendo plenamente competitivo frente a sus competidores occidentales.<br><br>Para lograr este avance, Huawei planea utilizar una tecnolog\u00eda que denomina &quot;apilamiento l\u00f3gico&quot;. Se trata de una mejora de los m\u00e9todos de apilamiento tridimensional existentes, en los que dos chips se colocan directamente uno encima del otro. Este proceso consigue una densidad de transistores significativamente mayor en la misma \u00e1rea de una oblea de silicio sin necesidad de un patr\u00f3n m\u00e1s fino. Este \u00faltimo requiere herramientas avanzadas de litograf\u00eda ultravioleta extrema (EUV), a las que China no tiene acceso actualmente. Seg\u00fan declaraciones oficiales, la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de procesadores Kirin 2026 estar\u00e1 entre los primeros chips disponibles comercialmente en aprovechar este enfoque.<br><br>A pesar de las restricciones actuales, China habr\u00eda construido una m\u00e1quina EUV parcialmente funcional con la ayuda de antiguos ingenieros de ASML.
