Aujourd\u2019hui, nous entendons pratiquement chaque jour quelque chose de nouveau dans ce domaine. Lorsque nous commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 parler de \u00ab quantique \u00bb dans le domaine de l\u2019informatique, nous nous approchons de changements v\u00e9ritablement spectaculaires qui fa\u00e7onneront l\u2019\u00e8re \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#039;informatique quantique est une technologie bas\u00e9e sur les principes de la th\u00e9orie quantique, qui explique la nature de l&#039;\u00e9nergie au niveau des atomes. Les ordinateurs quantiques contiennent aujourd\u2019hui des dizaines de qubits (bits quantiques). Chaque qubit existe dans une superposition de z\u00e9ros et de uns (c&#039;est-\u00e0-dire qu&#039;un qubit a un nombre \u00ab non nul \u00bb de chances d&#039;\u00eatre un z\u00e9ro ou un un) jusqu&#039;\u00e0 ce qu&#039;il soit mesur\u00e9. Le d\u00e9veloppement des qubits a des implications pour le traitement de donn\u00e9es massives et pour atteindre des niveaux d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 informatique jusqu\u2019ici inaccessibles, ce qui pr\u00e9sente un \u00e9norme potentiel pour l\u2019informatique quantique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Des ing\u00e9nieurs de la Facult\u00e9 de g\u00e9nie mol\u00e9culaire de Chicago (Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering et Argonne National Laboratory) ont prouv\u00e9 que l\u2019informatique quantique pouvait \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e \u00e0 des fins de stockage de donn\u00e9es. Des cristaux d&#039;oxyde de magn\u00e9sium contenant des \u00e9l\u00e9ments rares ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s \u00e0 cette fin et les donn\u00e9es sont stock\u00e9es \u00e0 l&#039;aide de photons de diff\u00e9rentes longueurs d&#039;onde. Le r\u00e9sultat de tout cela est la cr\u00e9ation de supports de m\u00e9moire qui pourraient \u00e0 l&#039;avenir stocker jusqu&#039;\u00e0 1 000 fois plus de donn\u00e9es qu&#039;aujourd&#039;hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00eame si le stockage de donn\u00e9es avec un ordinateur quantique est tr\u00e8s prometteur, il faudra attendre encore un peu. La technologie actuelle n\u2019est pas encore pr\u00eate pour ce type de stockage de donn\u00e9es.
