Le Global Computing Consortium (GCC) a officiellement d\u00e9voil\u00e9 une nouvelle norme, UBIOS (Unified Basic Input Output System), con\u00e7ue pour l&#039;architecture distribu\u00e9e et la co-conception logicielle et mat\u00e9rielle. Cette norme est enregistr\u00e9e sous le code T\/GCC 3007-2025.<br><br>Jusqu&#039;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, la Chine, comme le reste du monde, s&#039;appuyait fortement sur l&#039;UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface), d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par Intel et Microsoft pour succ\u00e9der \u00e0 l&#039;ancien BIOS. Avec l&#039;introduction de l&#039;UBIOS, le pays se dote de son premier \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me national enti\u00e8rement standardis\u00e9 et extensible, r\u00e9duisant ainsi sa d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 l&#039;UEFI.<br><br>La norme a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par 13 grandes entreprises technologiques et instituts de recherche chinois, dont l&#039;Institut chinois de normalisation \u00e9lectronique, Huawei Technologies et Nanjing BAI AO. Ce d\u00e9veloppement est significatif, car l&#039;UEFI domine les plateformes x86 depuis deux d\u00e9cennies et s&#039;est r\u00e9pandu sur les architectures ARM, RISC-V et les PC. Cependant, sa taille de code et son inefficacit\u00e9 le rendent inadapt\u00e9 au calcul h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8ne.<br><br>Contrairement \u00e0 l&#039;UEFI, \u00e9troitement li\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;architecture x86 et aux tables ACPI, l&#039;UBIOS est con\u00e7u d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part.
