Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me de transmission optimis\u00e9, l&#039;\u00e9quipe a atteint une capacit\u00e9 de transmission totale de 51,3 Tbit\/s sur une distance d&#039;environ 206 km, sans recourir \u00e0 des amplificateurs de signal. Le test a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9 sur le plus long c\u00e2ble transfrontalier \u00e0 c\u0153ur creux commercial au monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Contrairement aux c\u00e2bles \u00e0 fibres optiques traditionnels, o\u00f9 la lumi\u00e8re se propage dans le verre, cette nouvelle technologie utilise un c\u0153ur creux pour transmettre les signaux lumineux dans l&#039;air. Cette conception s&#039;affranchit des limitations physiques du verre traditionnel, r\u00e9duit la latence du signal et augmente consid\u00e9rablement la bande passante. Ces propri\u00e9t\u00e9s font de la fibre optique \u00e0 c\u0153ur creux une technologie cl\u00e9 pour les futurs r\u00e9seaux dorsaux et les grands centres de donn\u00e9es.<br><br>Il convient de noter que la transmission de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit en environnement r\u00e9el, hors laboratoire, soul\u00e8ve plusieurs d\u00e9fis en mati\u00e8re de stabilit\u00e9 qui devront \u00eatre relev\u00e9s \u00e0 long terme. Les ing\u00e9nieurs chinois ont tent\u00e9 d&#039;am\u00e9liorer cette stabilit\u00e9 en introduisant un m\u00e9canisme de contr\u00f4le de d\u00e9bit adaptatif et une allocation flexible de la puissance des canaux. Le syst\u00e8me ajuste dynamiquement la transmission de donn\u00e9es pour chaque longueur d&#039;onde individuellement, permettant un fonctionnement hybride avec diff\u00e9rentes vitesses et configurations.<br><br>Un autre \u00e9l\u00e9ment important du syst\u00e8me est la nouvelle architecture d&#039;amplification qui, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses deux \u00e9tages d&#039;amplification, garantit un signal stable et une puissance de sortie maximale de 33,5 dBm (environ 2,2 W de puissance optique). Compte tenu de ces valeurs \u00e9lev\u00e9es, des m\u00e9canismes de protection avanc\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9s au syst\u00e8me. Il s&#039;agit notamment d&#039;une surveillance continue de la stabilit\u00e9, d&#039;un arr\u00eat automatique en cas de d\u00e9tection de conditions dangereuses et de syst\u00e8mes d&#039;alarme.
