La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un prototype de carte m\u00e8re et de carte graphique, cette derni\u00e8re \u00e9tant aliment\u00e9e via un connecteur d&#039;alimentation suppl\u00e9mentaire sur la carte elle-m\u00eame.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une documentation officielle et des rendus de la nouvelle norme pour les connexions d&#039;alimentation GC-HPWR\/HPCE ont \u00e9galement fait surface, con\u00e7us pour fournir une alimentation suppl\u00e9mentaire \u00e0 la carte graphique via la carte m\u00e8re. La connexion peut fournir plus de 600 W de puissance, ce qui correspond aux capacit\u00e9s de la connexion 12VHPWR en termes de puissance continue de pointe. Il convient de noter que ce connecteur n&#039;est pas nouveau, mais une version modifi\u00e9e d&#039;un standard largement utilis\u00e9 sur le march\u00e9 des serveurs. Bas\u00e9e sur l&#039;exp\u00e9rience dans le segment des serveurs, la connexion grand public HPCE (High Power Card Edge) pourrait r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes de fiabilit\u00e9 associ\u00e9s au nouveau connecteur 12VHPWR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon Tom&#039;s Hardware, la connexion est divis\u00e9e en quatre ensembles de connecteurs\u00a0: 16 sont d\u00e9di\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#039;alimentation et 12 \u00e0 la communication entre la carte m\u00e8re et la carte graphique. Cette connexion a la m\u00eame taille qu&#039;un connecteur PCIe x1 standard et se situe juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 du port PCIe x16 principal sur la carte m\u00e8re.
