Danas prakti\u010dki svaki dan mo\u017eemo \u010duti ne\u0161to novo na ovom polju. Kada po\u010dnemo govoriti o &quot;kvantu&quot; u podru\u010dju ra\u010dunalstva, pribli\u017eavamo se doista dramati\u010dnim promjenama koje \u0107e oblikovati eru koja dolazi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kvantno ra\u010dunalstvo je tehnologija koja se temelji na principima kvantne teorije, koja obja\u0161njava prirodu energije na razini atoma. Kvantna ra\u010dunala danas sadr\u017ee desetke qubita (kvantnih bitova). Svaki qubit postoji u superpoziciji nula i jedinica (tj. qubit ima &quot;razli\u010dit od nule&quot; broj \u0161ansi da bude nula ili jedinica) dok se ne izmjeri. Razvoj qubita ima implikacije za rukovanje ogromnim podacima i postizanje do sada nedosti\u017enih razina ra\u010dunalne u\u010dinkovitosti, \u0161to ima ogroman potencijal za kvantno ra\u010dunalstvo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In\u017eenjeri s Fakulteta za molekularno in\u017eenjerstvo u Chicagu (Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering i Argonne National Laboratory) dokazali su da se kvantno ra\u010dunalstvo mo\u017ee koristiti i za potrebe pohrane podataka. U tu svrhu kori\u0161teni su kristali magnezijevog oksida s rijetkim elementima, a podaci se pohranjuju pomo\u0107u fotona razli\u010ditih valnih duljina. Rezultat svega toga su memorijski mediji koji bi u budu\u0107nosti mogli pohraniti i do 1000 puta vi\u0161e podataka nego \u0161to se danas mo\u017ee pohraniti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iako pohrana podataka s kvantnim ra\u010dunalom mnogo obe\u0107ava, na to \u0107e se morati jo\u0161 malo pri\u010dekati. Trenutna tehnologija jo\u0161 nije spremna za ovu vrstu pohrane podataka.
