Sitni lete\u0107i ure\u0111aji napravljeni po uzoru na kukce mogli bi se lako kretati kroz ru\u0161evine, ali do sada su takvi mikroroboti bili previ\u0161e spori i nespretni za ozbiljnu upotrebu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tim s MIT-a, predvo\u0111en profesorima Kevinom Chenom i Jonathanom P. Howom, uspje\u0161no je prevladao ovaj problem. Koriste\u0107i novi sustav upravljanja temeljen na umjetnoj inteligenciji, stvorili su minijaturnog robota koji mo\u017ee letjeti poput pravih insekata. Ure\u0111aj, pokretan mekim umjetnim mi\u0161i\u0107ima, omogu\u0107uje mu izuzetno brzo mahanje krilima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glavni razlog za izvanredan skok u performansama le\u017ei u dvofaznom softveru. Znanstvenici su koristili sofisticirani matemati\u010dki model za planiranje leta koji predvi\u0111a kretanje i izra\u010dunava slo\u017eene manevre poput o\u0161trih zavoja i uzastopnih okretaja. Budu\u0107i da bi takvi izra\u010duni koristili previ\u0161e ra\u010dunalne snage tijekom samog leta, ovaj je sustav djelovao kao &quot;u\u010ditelj&quot;. Imitacijskim u\u010denjem stvorili su lak\u0161i i br\u017ei model umjetne inteligencije koji se izvr\u0161ava izravno tijekom leta u stvarnom vremenu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rezultati testiranja su impresivni. Novi algoritam dao je robotu 447 posto ve\u0107u brzinu i 255 posto br\u017ee ubrzanje u usporedbi s prethodnim verzijama. Sitni robot uspje\u0161no je izveo 10 uzastopnih okreta u zraku za samo 11 sekundi, ostaju\u0107i unutar 4 do 5 cm od svoje predvi\u0111ene putanje, unato\u010d povremenim udarima vjetra. Tako\u0111er mo\u017ee izvesti brz, sna\u017ean manevar zaustavljanja i naginjanja koji kukci koriste za stabilizaciju vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sustav se trenutno oslanja na vanjske kamere za pra\u0107enje svog polo\u017eaja u svemiru.
