The 30-year-old actor regrets spending 16 hours a day in front of a computer and eating junk food
A Reddit post by a user with the pseudonym Brave-Bell-3422 has shaken up the PC gaming community as he revealed his recent diagnosis of RSI (repetitive strain injury). In the r/buildapc community, he described how long hours in front of the computer and an unhealthy lifestyle had negatively affected his body. And consequently, his health.
He admitted that he spends up to 16 hours a day in front of a screen. He works during the day and plays games at night. He also eats unhealthy, inflammatory foods, doesn't exercise, and has poor equipment, especially an unergonomic chair. He plans to replace the chair with a new one worth approximately 420 euros.
He also decided to make some big changes: he would stop playing games for a month, switch to a healthy diet, and start running. "If it's this bad at 30, I can't imagine what it'll be like at 50 if I don't take action," he wrote.
The Reddit community responded with empathy. Commenter Ezekiel862 described his similar experience at age 29 and praised the changes, particularly the importance of taking breaks from gaming and the positive effects of a healthier diet.
The theme now acts as a serious warning to players. Health is just as important as graphics settings.
