The popular console Steam Deck finally got a worthy competitor!
Valve Corporation surprised us some time ago with a unique portable game console. It is a game console with the Steam Deck sales tag. The novelty is based on the powerful but energy-saving AMD Zen 2 processor with four physical cores and eight virtual cores with an eight-core AMD RDNA 2 graphics card. There are also 16 gigabytes of fast RDNA 2 system memory and a 60-hertz 17.8-centimeter or 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels (16:10 aspect ratio). All games on the new console run at least 30 frames per second without any major problems.
But it seems that the popular console Steam Deck has finally got a decent competitor. On the startup portal IndieGoGo namely, the extremely interesting Ayaneo Kun portable game console appeared, which impressed many. It is equipped with a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor. The processor calculates data with as many as eight physical processor cores and 16 virtual cores. As much as 16 gigabytes of fast system memory are available here. The graphics content is matched by the built-in AMD Radeon 780M graphics card. Therefore, we will be able to play more demanding games on it without any major problems.
The interesting gaming console Ayaneo Kun will cope with cloud games without any major problems. Of course, games will also be able to be installed on the built-in memory, so there is no fear that we will not be able to play our favorite games wherever we are. The highlight is the 8.4-inch or 21.3-centimeter 1600P resolution screen. A 75 Wh battery ensures a sufficiently long operating autonomy.
The portable gaming console Ayaneo Kun runs the Windows 11 operating system. This practically means that we will be able to play almost any game on it. In addition, support for Windows Hello technology is provided. Up to two terabytes of space should be available for their storage.
