MSI has finally launched its latest gaming desktop, the MPG Trident AS AI 2nd, which was first introduced in April. Compared to Asus' ROG NUC 2025 mini-PC, this model combines desktop versions of the latest Intel Arrow Lake processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards.

There are two processor configurations available: Intel Core Ultra 5 225 and Core Ultra 7 265F, the latter being the more powerful with 20 cores (8 performance + 12 efficiency) manufactured on the TSMC N3B manufacturing process. The case measures 39.7 × 13.7 × 41 cm, which corresponds to a volume of 10.36 liters.

The computer is powered by a 500 W 80 Plus Bronze certified power supply, which is sufficient for an RTX 5060 or RTX 5070. It has built-in air cooling, four storage options (2× 2.5-inch + 2× M.2 2280), and almost 12 ports.

MSI currently offers four variants in Australia, Taiwan, and the Eurozone:

– Core Ultra 5 225 / RTX 5060 / 16 GB / 1 TB SSD ≈ converted €1,695
– Core Ultra 7 265F / RTX 5060 / 16 GB / 1 TB SSD ≈ converted €1,978
– Core Ultra 7 265F / RTX 5070 / 32 GB / 1 TB SSD €1,999 (EU) / ≈ converted €2,102
– Core Ultra 7 265F / RTX 5070 / 32 GB / 2 TB SSD ≈ converted €2,824

Pricing and availability for other markets are not yet known. The MPG Trident AS AI 2nd is aimed at demanding gamers looking for performance in a compact package.
