A miniature computer with the power of a giant and the silence of a whisper
Asus has introduced the ROG GR70 mini PC, a compact gaming system for those who want full desktop performance in a small chassis. The sub-3-liter design houses a powerful AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor and a choice of either a classic Nvidia GeFroce RTX 5070 desktop graphics card or a mobile version of the 5060 graphics card for laptops.
The processor has 16 cores and 32 threads and is based on the Zen 5 architecture with second-generation 3D V-Cache. In practice, this means more on-chip memory and better performance in games that require high processing power. Combined with RTX 50 series graphics cards (Blackwell), we get smooth images and the latest AI features such as DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation.
Despite its power, the GR70 stays quiet and cool thanks to QuietFlow cooling with three fans. The system keeps noise levels below 4.5 dB(A), which is remarkable for such a small device. Connectivity is top-notch: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, eight USB ports, and support for up to five 4K displays. Upgrades are easy – you can expand the memory without tools up to 96 GB of DDR5 system memory and add Solid State Drives (SSDs) with the Q-Latch system.
Software support includes Armoury Crate, where you can control fans, monitor hardware, or overclock your system. Preset performance modes allow for optimal performance without manual tuning. So the novelty will definitely not let us down.
