Affordable smartwatch with AMOLED display and many useful features

Rollme has launched its new Edge smartwatch, available directly from the manufacturer for around €28. Buyers can choose between a black or white version, but they should be aware of shipping costs and additional charges.

The watch has an angular shape, which is quite specific and may not appeal to everyone. There is a rotating crown on the right side, without any additional buttons. The device is IP68 water resistant, which means it is not suitable for swimming or diving, although the manufacturer shows this in promotional images.

The Rollme Edge smartwatch has a 4.95 cm AMOLED display with a resolution of 460 × 460 pixels. Rollme claims a color accuracy of Delta E < 2, but there is no information on brightness, which is important for outdoor use. The watch is 10.5 mm thick and 40 mm wide, and the 380 mAh battery is said to last up to 10 days on a single charge. Features include notification display, weather information, and other basic options.

The interesting Rollme Edge watch allows you to measure your heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. In addition, it analyzes the duration and quality of sleep by detecting movement at night. The GPS module is not built-in, so distances are estimated based on steps and stride length, unless the watch is connected to a smartphone. A microphone and speaker are built-in, which allows you to use the watch as a hands-free device for voice assistants.
