Affordable tablet with a large screen
Lenovo's sub-brand Lecoo has introduced a new affordable tablet called the Lecoo Tablet 12.7, which will be available in China from November 27, 2025. The starting price is approximately 143 euros, while the regular starting price will be around 182 euros.
The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, a popular chip from 2022 that is also found in devices like the Redmi Note 14 LTE and Lenovo Tab Plus. It is equipped with 8GB of system memory and up to 256GB of internal storage. This can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1TB.
The 12.7-inch (32.3 cm) display offers a resolution of 2,176 × 1,600 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo states that it has several eye-protection features, ensuring comfortable use. The sound is provided by four speakers that create a surround effect.
A large 10,200 mAh battery supports 18W charging, while both front and rear cameras are built in with 8 MP. Other features include a metal body, support for a detachable keyboard via a Pogo Pin connector, and a lightweight design.
The company has not yet revealed whether this affordable tablet will be available globally. Unfortunately, not all Lecoo products are necessarily available outside of China. Let's hope the new tablet is an exception.
