An unstoppable beast with a 7,000 mAh battery and the highest IP69 resistance standard
Oppo has set new standards in the mid-range segment with the launch of the A6s 5G. The star of the device is its incredible 7,000mAh battery, which the manufacturer claims will last up to three days of moderate usage. Despite its massive battery, the phone supports fast charging, which can charge the battery to half capacity in about half an hour. To keep all that power safe, Oppo has used a robust housing that is IP69 certified. This means that the device is completely dust and high-pressure water jets resistant, which goes beyond the usual standards of most flagships.
The device's display measures 17.02 cm (6.7 inches) and offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz, ensuring a smooth visual experience. Under the hood is an energy-efficient processor with support for 5G networks, assisted by up to 12 GB of RAM. On the back, we find a 50 MP main camera that uses artificial intelligence to optimize photos in poor lighting conditions. The phone measures approximately 0.91 cm (9.1 mm) thick, which is surprisingly compact considering the battery capacity.
The Oppo A6s 5G also includes advanced features such as stereo speakers with exceptional volume and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device was first introduced in Asian markets, and is coming to Europe with an estimated price of around 260 euros to 290 euros. With this model, Oppo is directly attacking competitors who offer so-called “rugged” phones, but with a significantly more elegant design that is also suitable for everyday business use.
