Black Friday 2025 on Amazon: the best buys of this year
Black Friday is once again one of the most anticipated shopping events of the year, especially for anyone looking for new tech gear at significantly lower prices. I've scoured Amazon and picked out a few devices that I think are worth buying at a discounted price.
If I find anything else, I will update the list as soon as possible.
Laptops and monitors
- Apple MacBook Air ($809): 13-inch version with a great M4 chip, 16GB of RAM, but only 256GB of storage. You can upgrade it or use an external drive.
- MacBook Air is in 15-inch version and 512 GB of storage available for €1,229
- Microsoft Surface Pro Snapdragon X (€716): This is the Qualcomm version on the Windows platform. Great battery, and I recommend buying a keyboard.
- MSI Crosshair A17 HX (€1844): Something for gamers or DIYers. RTX 5070, Ryzen 9 8940HX, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD... I still think it's a bit overpriced, but there's nothing better on Amazon.
- MSI MAG 273QP QD-OLED (€502): It's a shame it's not available in a larger diagonal, but everyone will be happy with this QD-OLED panel, 1440p resolution, and 240-Hz refresh rate.
- Amzfast 34-inch QHD (250 €): I don't know the brand, but the specs are solid for the advertised price. Maybe check first if anyone has had experience with this monitor.
- AOC Gaming C27G4ZXED (€122): 27 inches, 280 Hz, 1080p... It's not excessive, but for those of you who like to play competitive games, it's quite enough.
- MSI G255F (€78): I've never seen a 180-Hz monitor for so little money. It even has an IPS panel.
Smartphones
- Samsung Galaxy S25 ($592): By far the best deal on an otherwise great phone. If you need a new phone, you can get a premium phone for under $600. It's a shame it's a 128GB model, but that's plenty of space for some.
- Xiaomi 15T (€409): This is the price cut I was expecting for this phone. It was €200 more expensive when it was released. Still a good phone, but this is its true price to say it's a great buy.
- Xiaomi 15T Pro is also discounted, but only to €768, not as much as I expected.
- Xiaomi POCO X7 Pro (€292): A phone for those willing to make some compromises for a very competitive price. The cameras are good during the day, the battery is solid, the chip is very good for this price.
- Xiaomi POCO F7 (€358): A phone exclusively for gamers.
- Xiaomi POCO F8 Pro (€533): The latest POCO with the second most powerful Snapdragon chip, a huge battery, surprisingly good sound, and solid cameras for daytime photography.
- Google Pixel 10 (€665): Good cameras, okay battery, great screen, solid chip, but again only 128 GB of space.
Components
Unfortunately, there aren't many good deals. RAM and SSDs are getting more expensive, stock is dwindling, so they are almost absent from the discounted items. The same goes for graphics cards.
- WD_BLACK SN850P 2TB (€171): It was recently available for a few tens of euros less, and we can only expect even higher prices in the coming months, so this price may still be a good bargain.
- Fractal Design North XL (€150): I recently tested Tuxedo computer with this case and I can only praise it.
- NZXT Kraken Elite 240 (€102): If you're looking for a good AIO that you can fit into your case, the Kraken Elite is a good choice.
Headphones
- Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless (€173): Good battery, very good sound, and even better build quality.
- SONY WH-1000XM6 (€389): Sony's latest headphones and successor to the headphones that have long been considered the best on the market.
Watches and bracelets
- HUAWEI Watch FIT 4 Pro (193 €): I tested it. and was surprised at what they offer for half the price of premium smartwatches.
- HUAWEI Watch GT 5 (€163): Last year's model, but still relevant for most users.
- Watch GT 5 Pro is also reduced to €261. More in test.
- HUAWEI Watch GT 6 46mm (€204): The latest Huawei watch with amazing battery and all the features that are essentially available to smartwatches.
