Computer hardware is a fundamental part of any computer system. The processor is the heart of the computer, and the memory stores the currently running programs. The hard disk is responsible for long-term data storage, while the graphics card enables the display of graphic content. The base plate connects all these components. Additionally, the power supply provides power, the case protects the internal components, the optical drive allows reading optical discs, and expansion slots allow adding cards to expand functionality.
