Vivo has unveiled its latest model, the Y500i, in the Chinese market, which complements the Y500 series introduced last year. The device is powered by the proven Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which is accompanied by up to 12 GB of system memory and up to 512 GB of internal memory. It should be noted that the phone does not support expansion with a memory card, so choosing the right capacity when buying is key.

The screen measures 17.15 cm (6.75 inches) diagonally and is an HD+ LCD panel. It impresses with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits, which ensures good visibility even outdoors. The main camera with a resolution of 50 MP with autofocus is responsible for photography, while there is a 5 MP camera on the front for video calls. The phone is 0.85 cm (8.49 mm) thick and weighs about 219 grams, which is expected given the huge battery.

The device's biggest asset is its 7,200 mAh battery, which supports 44 W wired charging (a comparable 45 W charger costs around €18.50). In addition, the phone boasts top-notch IP69 water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and an infrared sensor. The price for the basic 8 GB + 128 GB version starts at around €199, while the most powerful 12 GB + 512 GB model costs €292. It is available in gold, black, and silver.
