A cheap smartphone that resembles the Pixel 10

Tecno has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Spark 30, which has immediately caught the attention of the tech community. The reason is not only its affordable price, but also its uncanny resemblance to the announced Google Pixel 10 series design, which makes it look like a much more expensive device than it actually is.

The Tecno Spark 30 enters the market as a mobile device that bets on aesthetics. Its back is adorned with a horizontal camera strip that stretches across the entire width of the phone, which is a trademark of Google's Pixel phones. Although Tecno is targeting budget-conscious buyers, using such a design language gives the phone a modern and distinctive look that stands out in a sea of generic budget devices.

The technical specifications are adapted to the price range, but still offer a solid user experience. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 mobile processor, which is designed for basic tasks and medium-demanding multitasking. On the front, we find a large 17.2 cm (6.78-inch) LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This combination provides a sharp image and smooth scrolling through social networks, which is a key advantage in this segment.

In terms of photography and video, the Spark 30 is equipped with a 64 MP main camera (Sony IMX682 sensor). This is a surprising choice for a budget phone, as it promises superior photo quality in good lighting conditions. A 13 MP front camera takes care of selfies. Endurance is provided by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18 W charging via the USB-C port.

Tecno has also integrated stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support into the device, which improves the video viewing experience. The phone also includes 8 GB of system memory (with the option of virtual expansion) and 128 GB or 256 GB of built-in storage.
