Electric bike with 137 km range and smart features

The Tenways Wayfarer is a new electric bike for urban and off-road riding with a range of up to 137 km, a smart app, Apple Find My support and a powerful motor. It is available at a discounted price of €1,790 at launch.

Dutch electric bike manufacturer Tenways recently unveiled its latest model, the Wayfarer. It's a city electric bike with premium features and a higher price tag, but it comes with an attractive launch discount.

The Wayfarer is powered by a 500-watt Bafang rear electric motor that delivers a maximum power of 750 watts and a default speed of 32.1 kilometers per hour. The speed can be increased to 45 kilometers per hour for additional performance.

The bike is designed for city riding and off-road trips. It has a removable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 720 Wh (48 V, 15 Ah), the same as the Batch eCB.3 model. The range on a single charge is up to 137 km. It is equipped with an 8-speed Shimano transmission, wide 27.5 × 6.6 cm tires, a FIX-15 suspension fork and hydraulic disc brakes.

The 6061 aluminum alloy frame weighs 26 kg and can withstand a load of up to 120 kg. It has a 10.9 cm LCD display with USB-C port and password protection. The bike supports the Tenways app for tracking rides, kilometers and performance.

It also has support for Apple Find My, making it easier to find the bike. It is available in blue and white. The regular price is a whopping 2,075 euros, but when using the code EARLYBIRD300, it is reduced to 1,790 euros for a limited time. The bike is already available on the official American Tenways website.
