Google Photos just got even better and more useful!
Google has released the November update for Pixel phones, which will be available to all supported devices in the coming days. This includes the latest Pixel 10 Pro, which costs around €900 on Amazon.
The update brings Remix to Google Messages, which lets you edit photos with artificial intelligence. Users can simply describe the change they want to make, and the AI will make it happen. The feature is currently limited to users in the US. It will be available to other users around the world soon.
Google Photos now offers personalized editing. In practice, this means users can name the person in the photo and have them edited. It's possible to remove sunglasses, open closed eyes, or change facial expressions.
Message fraud detection is also limited to the US, at least for now. Messages from contacts marked as VIPs are now displayed more prominently. On Pixel 9 and later, AI summarizes long messages directly in notifications. Starting in December, AI will be able to identify irrelevant messages and hide their notifications.
Pixel 10 users can take advantage of a new power saving mode in Google Maps that extends battery life by up to 4 hours. There’s also a “Wicked: For Good” theme pack, which brings three new styles for wallpapers, icons, and sounds.
