A mini PC with the power for gaming and artificial intelligence
Aoostar has announced its upcoming gaming mini desktop computer, called the Nex395. While not much has been revealed by the renowned company, it has been confirmed that the new device will be powered by the powerful AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. It is a top-of-the-line processor from the Strix Halo family, featuring 16 Zen 5 cores.
The AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor includes powerful integrated Radeon 8060S graphics, which AMD says exceeds the performance of the Nvidia RTX 4070 portable graphics chip. This means that the new Nex395 miniature computer system will be able to play games in 1080p and 1440p resolutions, which many will appreciate.
In the presentation, Aoostar highlighted that the system will support up to 128 GB of memory, allowing for local running of large AI models. The photo reveals the layout of the connectors. On the front we find one USB Type-C connector, and on the back we find 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, 4x USB Type-A, 1x USB Type-C and 2x Ethernet.
Both USB-C ports support USB4, and there was no mention of OCuLink. The case is slim and compact, and the SSD slots are easily accessible. The retail price for the new Nex395 is not yet known. But it certainly won't be cheap.
