Adafruit has introduced a new feature-rich miniature computer board aimed at tech enthusiasts. The Fruit Jam RP2350 is based on the Raspberry Pi RP2350B processor with two ARM Cortex-M33 cores running at up to 150 MHz. It has 8 MB of system memory and 16 MB of onboard storage, plus a microSD card slot.

The Adafruit Fruit Jam RP2350 mainboard measures just 3.4 x 2.1 inches (8.6 x 5.3 cm) and comes with a protective cover. It also includes a one-watt mini speaker. In addition to the clearly marked power button, there are three additional tactile buttons. Power and data transfer are via a USB-C connector.

Peripheral connectivity is provided by two USB-A ports, and a display can be connected via DVI-D, although the RP2350B only supports resolutions up to 1,280 x 720 pixels. Expansion is possible with a 16-pin GPIO, and an IR sensor allows for remote control. The built-in ESP32-C6 supports WiFi 6 (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.

Price and availability
The Fruit Jam RP2350 costs around €36, but is currently sold out on the Adafruit online store. Buyers from Europe should be aware of any import duties. While it is more expensive than the competing Waveshare RP2350B (from €17.50), it offers more expansion options.
