Bigme has launched a new color e-reader with an E-Ink display on the Chinese market, called the B751C S. It looks similar to the B7 and B7 Pro, but has some important differences. It is also an upgrade to the B751C.

The device uses a 7-inch (17.8 centimeters) Kaleido 3 display, which achieves 300 ppi in black and white mode and 150 pixels per inch in color. The screen is edge-to-edge, with page-turning buttons on the left side, and a built-in gyroscope allows for use in any orientation.

The e-reader supports a stylus with 4,096 levels of pressure, but this must be purchased separately. Inside, there is an octa-core processor working together with 4 GB of system memory and 64 GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 1 TB via TF card. There is Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, one speaker and one microphone. Compared to the B7 and B7 Pro, however, LTE connectivity and a rear camera are missing.

The Bigme B751C S weighs 220g, is 7mm thick, and runs on Android 14, which is a noticeable upgrade over Android 11 on the older model. It has a 3,050mAh battery, but the manufacturer doesn't specify how long it lasts on a single charge.

In China, the e-reader is available for approximately 210 euros, while the international version of the B751C-S is available in Europe on Amazon.de for 260 euros, with the package including a case and a stylus.
