Fi has unveiled its smallest smart tracker for cats and dogs yet, called the Mini. Measuring just 42mm x 30mm x 12.5mm and weighing 16 grams, the device makes it easy and discreet to track your pets.

The durable device tracks your pet’s activity and sleep 24 hours a day, giving owners more peace of mind. Fi plans to introduce AI-powered health tracking and Apple Watch connectivity later this year, enabling early detection of health issues. Built-in GPS and LTE-M connectivity via Verizon make it easy to find your pet if they get lost.

Pets are living longer thanks to better nutrition and care, but veterinary costs and insurance remain high. The average price of dog accident and illness insurance in the United States in 2024 was estimated at $790. Fi Mini requires a one-time activation fee of about $18.50 and a subscription plan — $73 for six months, $119 annually, or $220 for two years. All plans include unlimited Verizon wireless service.

The Fi Mini is already available on the manufacturer's official website. The larger Fi Series 3+ model has LED lights for easier finding in the dark. For safety, Fi recommends using a leash attached to the harness to reduce the chance of escape.
