Smartphone with huge battery promises a month of battery life
Manufacturer Energizer has introduced a new rugged smartphone with the sales code P30K Apex. The novelty is aimed primarily at users who need a very long battery life. The main feature of the device is a battery with a capacity of 30,000 mAh, which is significantly more than in most smartphones today. According to the manufacturer, the phone can work for up to a month without charging with moderate use or in standby mode.
Despite its focus on battery life, the Energizer P30K Apex also packs some pretty powerful hardware. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, which includes four powerful Cortex-A78 cores and four more power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. The device is equipped with 12 GB of system memory and 512 GB of storage.
On the front, there is a 17.6 cm IPS display with a resolution of 2,460 × 1,080 pixels, which offers enough space for working with applications, documents or multimedia. The photographic system is also quite ambitious. The main camera has a resolution of 200 MP, complemented by 50 MP and 5 MP additional sensors. On the front, there is a 50 MP selfie camera.
The phone supports 66W fast charging via USB-C, which is important considering the large battery capacity. The operating system is Android 16, and the device also includes NFC support.
As it is a rugged model, the housing is certified according to IP69K and MIL-STD-810H standards, which means protection against water, dust and mechanical impacts. Such devices are often intended for users who work in demanding environments, such as construction or industry.
Energizer plans to start selling the P30K Apex model in June 2026. The recommended retail price will be approximately 399 euros.
