If you don't want to or can't spend a lot of money on a tablet, the new Oppo Pad SE is definitely worth considering. Although it's currently only available at select European retailers, it can be had for as little as €269. For that price, it offers an 11-inch (27.94-centimeter) display, a metal body, and excellent craftsmanship that can rival more expensive devices. The narrow bezels around the screen further enhance its modern look.

The battery life is particularly impressive. With a 9,340 mAh battery, the tablet lasted 23 hours and 23 minutes in our Wi-Fi web browsing test. That means a full day of use without needing a power outlet. If you watch movies offline, the battery life can be even longer. You can watch all the Harry Potter movies without draining your device.

Despite its large battery, the tablet isn't heavy. Thanks to advances in battery technology, it weighs just 544 grams and is 7.4 mm thick, making it slim and portable. It also offers plenty of system memory, a bright, flicker-free display, and four high-quality speakers. There's also cellular LTE connectivity, so you can use it for calls, but only with a headset or hands-free kit, otherwise everyone will hear your conversation.

Of course, the Oppo Pad SE tablet has some minor drawbacks. It's not a high-end device, so don't expect top-notch performance. But that won't bother many.
