Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablet also for the European market?
A few weeks ago, we got the first information from whistleblowers about the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablet, which is expected to hit the market next year, presumably towards the end of spring.
The new device is said to be in development under the codename Sheng and model number N81A. According to the leaked information, it is equipped with a 10-inch LCD display from Tianma. If this information is correct, the screen of the Pad 7 Pro would be slightly smaller than the 11-inch screen of the Pad 6 Pro. This would probably also result in slightly more compact dimensions, as the bezel of the screen is likely not thicker, but thinner than its predecessor. The source states that the screen resolution is 1480 x 2367, which would also be lower than the current model, and the refresh rate is 144 Hz.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is mentioned, which promises more performance than the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and would thus be one of the upgrades. Four stereo speakers and a dual camera – wide-angle and depth – are said to be installed on the back. More details about the cameras are not yet known. It is not surprising that the new HyperOS, based on the Android 14 operating system, will be used as the operating system.
The new Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro tablet is expected to be launched together with the upcoming flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra. In all probability, we will not get the Pro version in Europe, but only the classic Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet.
