Xiaomi has launched the new Redmi G34WQ 2026 in the Chinese market, a curved monitor with a diagonal of 86.4 centimeters (34 inches) and a resolution of 3,440 × 1,440 pixels. The screen with a curvature of 1,500 mm and an aspect ratio of 21:9 promises greater ergonomics and better immersion in content.

It's a VA panel with a typical brightness of 400 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 3,500:1, meaning it won't display HDR content on the same level as OLED or mini-LED displays. However, it offers a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz and a gray-to-gray response time of 1 ms, which is ideal for gaming.

The monitor supports AMD FreeSync, which allows the image to be synchronized with the output of the graphics card and reduces image tearing. There are two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports, allowing you to connect to multiple devices. There is also RGB lighting on the back, which adds an aesthetic touch.

The monitor is priced at around €186 in China, which is a discounted promotional price. While it's not yet confirmed when it will be available globally, Xiaomi often launches its monitors in the European market, so an international release is likely.
