Windows 11 customization tool now even better!
Recently, Flyoobe, a popular tool for bypassing Windows 11 hardware requirements, suddenly disappeared from the GitHub portal. Users were forced to look for other sources or alternatives to create Windows 11 images on unsupported devices. Fortunately, it was just a false positive, and the popular project was quickly restored.
With version 1.11, Flyoobe introduces an important new feature: the “OOBE Assist” tile. This appears after the standard Windows 11 boot process and allows you to set your default browser, review AI features, uninstall pre-installed apps, and more.
Additional improvements in v1.11:
- Removed ToolSpot.exe; functionality now taken over by the “Extensions” button
- The extension input dialog now includes a “Browse Extensions” link for easier access to scripts
- Improved script execution in embedded and console mode
- Updated OOBE pages and context menus
- New default extensions:
- Microsoft Defender Maintenance: Updates, Fixes, Status
- Basic tools after installation: quick launcher for system tools
- Updated version checker: now uses URL redirection instead of the cumbersome API
Flyoobe is regularly updated and is becoming an increasingly powerful tool for cleaning Windows 11 images. However, it is recommended to be careful with modified systems. Alternatives such as Rufus and tiny11builder support Windows 11 25H2 and use only Microsoft tools.
