Xiaomi Smart Home Display 11 for smart homes

Xiaomi has introduced a new flagship smart home product in its home environment, the Xiaomi Smart Home Display 11. The device boasts a large 27.94 cm (11-inch) FHD+ (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) display, which with a brightness of 400 nits ensures a clear image even in brighter rooms. Eye comfort is ensured by the TÜV Rheinland blue light protection certificate.

One of the key innovations is the use of the new HyperOS operating system, which allows for lightning-fast and smooth management of all connected IoT devices in your home. Unlike classic tablets, this device is designed for a permanent place on a shelf or table, which is facilitated by a built-in stand with adjustable tilt.

The device also includes an 8MP HD front-facing camera for video calling, as well as a digital photo frame feature that turns the screen into a gallery of your favorite memories or artwork. Thanks to the rear speaker placement, Xiaomi has managed to reduce the overall size of the device by more than 35% compared to previous models, giving it a more minimalist look.

In China, the device is available for around 175 euros (excluding import duties). Although a global version has not yet been officially confirmed, Xiaomi is expected to soon address the European market with its new generation of smart displays.
