Radeon RX 7600M XT: expensive but interesting for gamers
Although compact and portable gaming computers are currently in vogue, they have several problems: they are price and performance, which cannot be compared to classic computers.
Such devices cannot, for example, have powerful graphics cards due to space limitations. However, users can take advantage of modern interfaces such as USB4 and OCuLink to significantly increase 3D performance. One way is to use eGPU enclosures, which can even house regular desktop graphics cards.
GPD has equipped its G1 with an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics card, which is very similar in terms of specifications to the Radeon RX 7600. However, due to the lower power consumption, it is not expected to provide exactly the same level of performance as the desktop version.
GPD G1 ima dve težavi. Nakup vas bo stal 700 evrov, hkrati pa je pri visoki obremenitvi zelo glasna. Na voljo je poseben “Tih” profil v BIOS-u, vendar se s tem po drugi strani omeji zmogljivost grafične kartice. Nedvomno je to svojevrstna rešitev za kompaktne računalnike, ni pa rešitev, ki bi ustrezala ravno vsakemu ljubitelju iger.
