Nvidia is entering the processor market this year and is announcing a direct confrontation with Intel and AMD!
Nvidia is no longer just “that graphics card company.” After a huge success in AI server chips, the company, led by Jensen Huang, is moving into consumer PCs. Their upcoming processor is said to be based on the ARM architecture, which means Nvidia is following in the footsteps of Apple and its M-series. This promises extreme energy efficiency and high performance, which could finally put Windows laptops on par with MacBooks.
The main advantage of Nvidia's processor will of course be the integration of artificial intelligence. The processors will include dedicated units for accelerating AI operations, which is key to new Windows features and Copilot+. In addition, the graphics part of the processor (iGPU) is expected to be based on the Blackwell architecture or even newer, which would mean that you would be able to play modern high-level games without the need for a separate, expensive graphics card.
For Slovenian buyers, this means more choice and probably a fiercer price war between manufacturers. The first laptops with these chips are expected to be introduced in the second half of 2026, with mention of cooperation with companies such as Dell, HP and Asus. If the performance predictions come true, Nvidia could quickly become the first choice for creatives and gamers looking for maximum power in thin cases. Although exact prices are not yet known, it is assumed that these systems will be placed in the mid- and upper price range (above 1,200 euros).
