RayNeo Air 3s Pro AR smart glasses with an exceptional display and surround sound
Following its launch in China, TCL has officially announced the global availability of its RayNeo Air 3s Pro smart glasses. They are designed as a portable external display for USB-C devices. This essentially allows users to experience a movie screen without a TV or projector.
The glasses feature dual HueView 2.0 micro-OLED displays with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. This makes them among the brightest AR glasses in the world, according to TCL. The display includes a 46° field of view, a contrast ratio of 200,000:1, and a color coverage of 145 % sRGB and 98 % DCI-P3.
According to TCL, the viewing experience is comparable to a 511 cm IMAX screen at a distance of 6 meters. There are six display modes, 3,840Hz PWM dimming and 20 brightness levels. The Air 3s Pro are actually the only wearable glasses with dual TÜV SÜD certification for low blue light and flicker-free. The sound is provided by four speakers with a spatial algorithm and Whisper mode for private listening.
The TCL RayNeo Air 3s Pro smart glasses weigh just 76 grams and feature adjustable handles and nose pads for a comfortable fit. They are compatible with PCs, PlayStation, Xbox (via HDMI adapter), Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2, as well as iPhones and Android devices.
The price of the TCL RayNeo Air 3s Pro smart glasses is approximately 275 euros, and with a coupon only 229 euros. They are available on Amazon and the official RayNeo website. Delivery is expected between September 1 and 2.
