Mercedes-AMG is preparing the third version of CLA cars

Mercedes has woken up from its winter sleep and is already testing a new model of its AMG sports version. Testing is mostly taking place in Sweden and although the new model is camouflaged, some facts are already known.

Standard CLA models will have the option of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In AMG models, the 4-wheel drive is said to produce 500 horsepower. The differences between the engines of the regular CLA and the AMG version will of course be obvious.

Mercedes promises a range of up to about 450 km for the single-engine model. We also learned that the new CLA will have the option of charging the car with a power of up to 250 kW. You will also be able to use it as a source of energy, because it has the possibility of two-way charging.

It is not known which models Mercedes will offer to customers. In addition to the new sedan, they are also planning the arrival of a crossover between the GLA and GLB. All models will have the same drive and battery architecture. The first serial versions can be expected next year at the earliest.
