Ulefone has pleasantly surprised us with a new rugged smartphone from the Armor family, the Armor X16. The novelty can already be imported directly from China for a price of 155 euros. The import does not include a local warranty. Since Ulefone already has a strong presence on Amazon (e.g. Armor 34 Pro 5G), it is recommended to wait for the new model to be available there as well.

Ulefone Armor X16 is a rugged phone that fully complies with IP69K, IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards. This means protection against dust, water and drops. It weighs almost 395 grams and measures 17.95 mm in thickness, which is due to the robust body and a large battery with a capacity of 10,360 mAh. It supports fast charging with a power of 33 W.

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 mobile processor, which does not support 5G, but allows 4G/LTE connectivity. There are 6 GB of system memory and 128 gigabytes of storage space. The IPS screen measures 6.56 inches (16.7 centimeters), is protected by resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 5, has a resolution of 1,612 × 720 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The screen is said to reach a brightness of up to 910 nits.

Among the cameras we find the main 48 megapixel camera, 2 megapixel macro camera and 20 megapixel night camera with night vision. There is also a fingerprint reader. The mobile operating system installed on the newcomer is Android 15.
