Mobile WiFi 7 hotspot of the future
Netgear has announced the new Nighthawk 5G M7. This is a very interesting mobile router that combines versatility and performance. The device combines a 5G modem with a WiFi 7 chipset, allowing speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps and connecting up to 32 devices simultaneously.
The Nighthawk 5G M7 works in over 140 countries and supports both nano SIM and eSIM, including Slovenia. The companion app, available for iOS and Android, includes an eSIM marketplace where users can easily choose the right plan for their travels. The app also shows data usage and battery status.
The device has a 3,850 mAh battery that provides up to 10 hours of operation and is charged via USB-C. Compared to the more expensive M7 Pro model, the M7 has a smaller 6.1 cm screen that shows connection status, data usage and battery. The device measures approximately 14.5 × 8.4 × 1.7 cm and weighs around 240 g, which is slightly more than the average smartphone. If necessary, two Ethernet ports can be added via a separate adapter.
The Netgear Nighthawk 5G M7 (MH7150) will be available in January 2026, but unfortunately it won't be cheap. It will cost around 460 euros. The new product will also be available for purchase on Amazon.
