The new Xiaomi A27i 2026 attacks the budget class with 144 Hz
The new Xiaomi A27i 2026 monitor model with a diagonal of 69 cm (27 inches) is now officially available in additional European markets, including Germany and the United Kingdom. In Germany, the company is offering it directly and via the Amazon online store at a promotional price of 129 euros, while the recommended retail price is 139 euros.
Despite the attractive price, buyers should take into account some important technical limitations before purchasing. The main minus of the device is the relatively low resolution for such a screen size. The 69 cm panel offers only a standard Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. This means that the image will not be as sharp as we would like, since models with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels are already generally accepted in this size class. Although the manufacturer boasts an above-average 144-hertz refresh rate, the device cannot be called a true gaming monitor. The matrix response time is 6 milliseconds, which is still good enough for average gamers.
There is also a noticeable "saving" in color display. Xiaomi states factory color accuracy with a Delta E deviation of less than 1, but it is basically a native 6-bit IPS matrix, which only simulates 8-bit color depth with the help of FRC technology. The screen brightness reaches a solid 300 cd/m², and the static contrast ratio is 1,500: 1.
The set of connections includes one DisplayPort 1.4 output and one HDMI 2.0. The included stand is basic and only allows you to change the tilt forward and backward, but fortunately, a standard VESA mount is available for wall mounting or a dedicated arm.
