Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G with gigantic battery comes to Europe

Oppo has expanded its smartphone range outside its home market, offering a new model to customers in Austria, Malaysia and Thailand. It is a mid-range model labeled Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G, which tries to attract buyers primarily with an unusually large "power reserve".

The main trump card of the device is a huge battery with a capacity of 10,000 mAh. Fast charging is provided by wired technology with a power of 80 W, while the mobile phone also supports reverse wired charging at 27 W to power other devices. The front is occupied by a 17.22 cm (6.78-inch) AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,772 × 1,272 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the hood is a 4-nanometer Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, which works with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 internal memory.

For photography, the device relies on a 50 MP main camera with optical stabilization and an additional 2 MP monochrome sensor. For self-portraits, there is a 50 MP front camera. Despite the high resolution of the sensors, video recording is quite limited, as both the front and rear cameras only support 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second, which will be disappointing for many.

The housing boasts a high level of protection against water and dust according to the IP69K standard. The mobile phone also includes NFC technology and an optical fingerprint reader under the screen, and runs on the Android 16 operating system with the ColorOS 16 interface. In Austria, the model with 6 GB of working memory and 256 GB of internal memory is available for 599 euros. The phone is available in blue (Surfing Blue) and black (Lunar Black).
