Galaxy S26 Ultra: finally faster charging?
Now that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones have been unveiled, attention is turning to Samsung's next big smartphone family. We're talking about the Galaxy S26 family of smartphones, of course. There's no shortage of rumors and predictions, especially about the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra, which will also impress the budget-conscious.
A well-known blogger recently revealed some promising news. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is finally getting improved charging speeds. Samsung has long limited its flagship phones to 45W, but the new Ultra model is said to exceed that limit. Although the numbers are not yet confirmed, 65W is mentioned as a likely upgrade. This is said to be in line with Samsung's cautious policy after the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.
Despite this improvement, the battery will likely remain the same, at 5,000 mAh. The question is whether the regular Galaxy S26 and S26+ models will also receive the same upgrade or not. The upgrade would certainly be well-received among fans of the South Korean phone.
Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could become the first Samsung phone with a 1-inch camera sensor. This has been announced several times for previous models, but has yet to materialize. Will this time be different?
