We recently reported on the very interesting AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 “Strix Halo” processor. This is a very powerful processor that boasts an integrated Radeon 8060S graphics solution. The new processor will be available for both desktops and laptops and, as it turns out, will easily handle even the most demanding tasks, including demanding computer games.

The AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 “Strix Halo” processor has 16 physical and 32 virtual processor cores. The default frequency is 3 GHz, and the maximum is 5.1 GHz. The integrated Radeon 8060S graphics card is based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. Therefore, the novelty can easily compete even with the mobile version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.

It is therefore not surprising that GMKtec has also warmed up to the new processor, namely in the preparation of the compact desktop computer GMKtec EVO-X2. The novelty also boasts powerful hardware, as expected. This includes up to 96 gigabytes of LPDDR5-4800 system memory and 512 gigabytes of built-in memory for data storage. In addition, there are three HDMI outputs and two gigabit network cards. The icing on the cake is the wireless connection WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as a silent cooling system that will convince lovers of silence.

The GMKtec EVO-X2 desktop computer is finally available on the global market. As expected, the novelty is not cheap. The version equipped with 64 gigabytes of system memory and a terabyte of space is available for a calculated 1,238.34 euros. The first customers will receive the novelty from May 20th, and they can buy it at the online link https://www.gmktec.com/products/prepaid-deposit-amd-ryzen-ai-max-395-evo-x2-ai-mini-pc.
