Based on the latest photo from the certification database and previously known specifications, it seems that Samsung is simply “updating the year” with the Galaxy S25 FE, without any major changes. If the rumors prove to be accurate, Samsung will be the target of criticism in mid-2025, as the Exynos 2400 mobile processor installed in the novelty is unlikely to offer improved performance. However, there is also good news for buyers of the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE.

According to Greek portal Techmaniacs, the Galaxy S25 Fan Edition smartphone is said to inherit some of the features of the more expensive Galaxy S25 model. Although the source is not always 100% reliable, the new model is said to feature a larger battery with a capacity of 4,900 mAh (200 mAh more than before) and support for 45 W fast charging. This should come in handy especially for those users who travel a lot or are constantly on their smartphone.

The Galaxy S25 FE smartphone is expected to feature an even thinner 7.4mm body and a reduced weight of 190 grams, likely due to an upgrade to the 'Armor Aluminum' frame. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display will apparently retain Full HD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, but will gain LTPO technology, which will enable dynamic refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz, thus saving power. The front camera is expected to be upgraded to a 12MP sensor, possibly even with autofocus like the Galaxy S25.
