Minisforum has expanded its AtomMan family of PCs with the recently launched AtomMan G1 Pro. Coming more than a year after the AtomMan G7 and G7 Ti, the new G1 Pro actually brings a significantly more powerful processor and graphics card combination.

The AtomMan G1 Pro mini PC is equipped with the Ryzen 9 8945HX APU from the Dragon Range Refresh family. The processor has 16 cores and 32 threads, reaches a maximum frequency of 5.4 GHz and includes 80 MB of combined L2+L3 cache. It operates at 100 W in "Best Mode", while 60 W and 80 W modes are available for office and gaming use, respectively.

The graphics are handled by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 desktop card with 3,840 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR7 graphics memory on a 128-bit bus. It outperforms the RTX 4060 in terms of performance, but lags the RTX 5060 Ti by about 14 percent. Theoretically, the card can be upgraded, but the 145 W TDP and integrated 350 W power supply limit the possibilities.

Despite its compact size of 31.5 × 21.5 × 5.7 cm, the G1 Pro offers a wide range of connections. In addition to DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1, which are provided by the graphics card, the system has five USB ports and 5 Gbps LAN.

The AtomMan G1 Pro starts at €1,280 (US$1,190) with 32GB of DDR5 system memory and 1TB of storage. A base model is also planned for around €920 (US$1,190), but is currently out of stock. Only the 32GB/1TB configuration is available on the Minisforum websites for the Eurozone, Canada, and the UK.
