Dyson has prepared the first smart toothbrush with a camera for 490 euros

Dyson, the company known for its bagless vacuum cleaners and bladeless fans, is entering the world of oral hygiene. Its latest product is a technologically advanced toothbrush, for which engineers have even developed a special system for precisely testing plaque removal.

The brush features a 100k-pixel macro lens camera that acts as an “endoscope” and allows users to see the condition of their teeth in real time in the MyDyson app. The device also features an anti-gravity tank. The entire mechanism combines machine learning, precision fluid dynamics, advanced brushing technology and Wi-Fi.
When a built-in camera detects a gap between teeth, the device releases a jet of mouthwash while the brush cleans along the gum line, removing surface bubbles and plaque. The manufacturer claims that the innovation removes up to 72 percent more plaque than leading electric toothbrushes on the market.

Special toothpaste and mouthwash are also available to operate the system, which do not obscure the camera lens, and each costs about 10 euros. The purchase of the advanced brush alone will cost users about 490 euros.
